Technical Specifications
This is the most popular model because of its capability to destroy large quantities of paper, rolls of microfilm, computer printouts and bank notes (currency). The large feed aperture (300mm wide by 250mm high) also provides for the easy feed of crumpled paper.
There is a range of the SECURITY SCREEN sizes up to 20mm and should be selected to match each application and real needs. For example, 6mm screens are recommended for high security applications, whereas most banks use a 9mm or 12mm screen. Screens can be changed with minimum down time.
Note: For bank notes (currency) the bands must be broken and the notes ‘fanned’ as they are fed into the machine.
The throughput of a Model 750 varies according to the type of feed material, the way it is presented and the size of the security screen in place. Approximate maximum throughputs are:
6mm screen – 50 kilograms per hour.
9mm screen – 60 kilograms per hour.

The Model 750 Granulator can be supplied to suit a number of different waste handling methods.
Type I can be connected to an existing or proposed Collection & Disposal System. Suction air requirement: 350 Mł/Hr at 10 kPa at machine. Mecal can assist in the design of a disposal system.
Type II is supplied with an ‘inbuilt’ vacuum system which collects the waste directly into plastic garbage bags for Dust Free disposal.
